2-Panchakarama

Panchakarma means five therapies i.e. five procedures of elimination of vitiated doshas from body they are-

3) Anuvasan Therapy (Unctuous Enema Therapy)

4) Niruh Vasti Therapy (Decoction Enema Therapy)

Ksharasutra

Ksharasutra is unique procedure of Ayurveda for the treatment of piles, Fistula.

Procedure

A medicated thread is prepared by dipping the thread in liquid alkali (oletained by burning parts of medicinal plants) & drying it.

This thread is tied on piles which shed by itself without any surgical procedure & patient gets relieved of piles.

Similarly the wound of fistula is stuffed with Ksharavarti or Vranavasti and it gets curved without any surgical intervention.
