Academic activities

    The College is affiliated to the Vikram University, Ujjain http://www.vikramuniversity.org for teaching, research and examination purposes and follows the syllabus and curriculum prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine New  Delhi statutory regulatory body for Indian Systems of Medicine .

    The Institute imparts Post-Graduate (MD Ayurveda), Under-Graduate (BAMS),  teaching and training and coming up facilities for  Ph.D. very soon.

The Under-graduate Course, Ayurvedacharya (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)  is of 5½ years duration (4½ years of the main course and 1 year internship).  The main course is divided into 3 Professional Courses of 1½  years duration each. The admission qualification prescribed by the Vikram University of Ujjain is Senior Higher IInd Classary examination in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.  The students admitted from Science-Biology stream in the main course.

 The annual admission capacity to BAMS is 40 and reservation as per M.P. Govt rules for all catteries. Admission Notification is conducting by Vavsayik Pariksha Mandal Bhopal (VYAPAM) .The entrance test Name is PAHUT (Pre Ayurveda,Homeopathic,Unani Test) an Entrance Test Will be Conducted in the month of June July and admission are contiunue till 30st Oct. candidates standing in the highest merits are admitted in the College.  

 The Under Graduate course is imparted in the following Subjects through the 13 Departments having the required facilities and staff:

During the one year rotatory Internship, the interns are paid Rs. 1844/- per month as stipends as per the rates of state Govt.

The PG Course, or Ayurved Vachaspati MD (Ayurved)  is  3 years duration divided into two Parts. At present the Institute is imparting the Post-graduate course in the following three specialties. And start soon in three specialties.

The annual admission capacity is Nine.  Admission is made on conducting an all India Entrance Test.Which is exam conduct by college mostly in the month of July. The PG scholars are Received Stipend at the rates of M.P. Govt. Rules. Presently the consolidated emoluments are of Rs. 11400/-(1st Year), Rs. 11795/-(2nd Year) and Rs. 12204/-(Final Year) .

  The Regular main course is of one year's duration. The admission qualification is as prescribed by the M.P.Paramedical Council Bhopal is Senior Higher IInd Classary examination in any Stream or any other examination recognized by the M.P. Peramedical Council Bhopal as equivalent thereto. 

 The annual admission capacity to Ayurveda Compounder 50 and reservation as per M.P. Govt rules for all catteries. 15 Extra seats are also available for the S.T. Students. The Total Annual admission Capacity is 65 Seats. Admission Notification is conducting by College mostly in the month of july as per rule of M.P.Peramedical Council Bhopal  M.P. Paramedical council time to time; candidates standing in the highest merits are admitted in the College. A regular Ayurveda compounder course is one-year period. Under M.P.
